On 09 October 2012, MacroAsia Catering Services (MACS) was announced as winner of the prestigious and much coveted “Singapore Airlines Excellence in Catering Award 2011”. The recognition was a result of a 12-month rating period conducted by Singapore Airlines (SQ) for all its catering service providers worldwide. MACS has outperformed 15 catering stations in Group 1 (stations handling 15 or more weekly flight frequency) within the SQ network. It simply means that MACS has delivered excellent catering products and services and has consistently met the quality standards of SQ during the past year.
Last 04 December 2012, a simple awarding ceremony was held at the MACS catering facility. The trophy was awarded by SQ General Manager Mr. Ranjan Jha and Station Manager Mr. Kelvin Kwan and witnessed by SQ airport officers, MacroAsia Corporation executives and MACS Management team & staff.
MACS General Manager, Rhodel Esteban, expressed his sincere appreciation to all MACS staff & officers as well as the members of SQ MNL team who collectively persevered to achieve and sustain an outstanding performance. He added that this prestigious award and recognition rightfully belongs to both MACS and SQ-MNL, as they jointly remained focused in achieving the high quality standards set by SQ.

I am happy that I find an online store here in Singapore which sells good models at right price. Airplane models @ SG is a good source of diecast plane in Singapore (I am not affiliated with them).
Singapore Jewellery Design Award is a yearly competition organized by SJA or Singapore Jewellers Association which is the largest organization of jewelers in Singapore. Since 2009 the competition receives a big impact among the students worldwide. This year Singapore Jewellery Design Award 2013 is now open for entries until October 12, 2012.
The competition is devided in to three categories and the winners in each category will receive cash prizes and the top scorer will receive the new iPad. This competition is open globally and for the top winner outside Singapore will receive a free flight and hotel accommodation in Singapore to attend the award ceremony.
Each winning designs also will be manufactured into real jewellery and the designers will get money from the sales of their winning designs.
