My STI Life

My STI College Life is full of unforgettable experience, since the time that i enrolled i feel comfortable with the school, back in the summer of 2006. I am excited to meet new classmates, and I am not disappointed also to the Instructors I meet they are really cool!

I found also that every year they have a local competition called “Tagisan ng Talino” me and my classmates join it for fun only. Me and my Classmates planned to join the all the Quiz Bee category from IT, Math and Gen Knowledge, it is a single competition not group.

And now this is it, the competition starts the first Quiz Bee is on the IT Category, O.M.G.! I feel very excited as the the Quiz bee starts from the first Questions, i am surprised to my answers oh! i answered it correctly and on the scoreboard in front i see that I am the leading, and i see that the attention of the crowd is on me! especially The Second year student cause they are also join the Quiz Bee. “Catuira is leading” as Sir Ging(the host of the event, STI Tanay Instr.) said. And at last as the competition ends thank God I won! , but you know I surprised.

As the Competition ends, they said that the student won on the different categories from Math, Gen Knowledge and I.T. will join the regional Tagisan ng Talino competition at STI College Baliuag, Bulacan

As the Tagisan ng Talino Local Quiz bee Competition Ends, i meet the winner on the 2 category, Nathaniel Balaoro on Math Category(He is Second year, DCET), Glaiza Aileen Inonog (first year DCET) and we became friends coz the 3 of us will be the TNT Quiz Bee Junior Group. On the first week of our review for the preparation of the regional competition our couch(Ms. Tadena and Ms Zubiaga), Instructors of STI College Tanay Help us and support us!

The day of the competition. Balaoro said that STI Pasay is really aims to be a winner again coz they won the nationals last 2005 on Tagisan ng Talino ow! now we are at STI Baliuag and we find that the students there are really friendly, we see also other STI Schools are on there for the competition.

Funny Moments, during the competition there is a question that people laugh on our STI Tanay Team coz our answer is not appropriate. and now as the competition runs we are getting points until the last minutes we have a closer fight with STI Pasay during the last question. if they answer is correct they will won again, but if it is wrong we will won, and at last we won!

O.M.G! we are now going to the national Finals! the national finals will be held at PETA Theater, and thank God again we won! and the next day on our field trip at Tagaytay and Star City, our team gets the yellow tag at star city, hmm…. we are VIP’s as the text on the yellow tag but i don’t feel it actually lol! we recieved our medal at the ALIW theater, wait with cash! yes with cash! the medal includes with cash. Our school is proud of us they even put up a Congratulations Tarpulin for us! that is really flattering!

I will not forget that moment since i studied at STI Tanay or the STI College today, and since today that I already Graduated last 2008 and now that I am working now in Makati. I Treasure that moments and i would like to share for you Guys, I learn and feel the love the people around us from students to Instructors and i will said to you that i wrote this not because of the Medal we receive, this is all about how the STI helps the students not only in education but in real life.
