I had the opportunity to be in the Philippines first Six Star hotel, The Maxims Hotel.
Maxims hotel is in the Resorts World Manila (RWM) located across Ninoy Aquino International Airport 3.
The night of November 4 was the first time I step my foot in the country’s first Six Star Hotel it was convenient for me to go there and I don’t have trouble going there because it is one of the fastest growing landmark in the country and all of the local taxi driver know it already.
On my way to Passions restaurant for the bloggers event headed by Resorts World Manila for the sneak preview of World Manila’s Grand Fiesta Run 2010, I had the opportunity to see some of its world class facility and I noticed that there are a lot of things you can do inside the RWM you can eat, watch movie at Newport Cinemas, shop at Newport Mall, entertain in the Newport Performing Arts Theater and enjoy the exhibits featuring renowned Filipino artists. And there is also a Casino inside the facility.
Maxims Hotel is not the only hotel you can find in Resorts World Manila it also home to two international lodging brands like Marriott Hotel Manila and Remington Hotel(slated to open in the third quarter of 2011).
During the bloggers event they discuss to us about the coming Resorts World Manila’s Grand Fiesta Run 2010 that will happen in November 28, 2010, Newport City, Pasay City (Across NAIA 3) and the highlight of the fun run is the 1K rat race which all runners need to come in their weirdest and wildest costumes; from jazzed up office gear or fiesta-inspired outfits ( It was cool and awecome to have this fun run lol).
I really enjoyed my stay in RWM I love the food, the hospitality of the people and atmosphere inside the facility you are secure( I notice a lot of security personnel and surveillance camera’s around). So you don’t need to worry about it.
After my unforgettable experience in RWM, I think that this place will be the next tourist destination and it will be a country’s pride.
For the passed months some flights to NAIA have diverted to DMIA (Diosdado Macapagal International Airport) in Clark. because of the broken navigation equipment at NAIA.
Government and other Private Companies are planning to make DMIA the new Gateway to Manila by building new Airport Terminals at Clark. Its proximity to manila is the problem DMIA is a hour drive from Manila and it was too far.
WHAT IF??????
they can used that budget for DMIA in expanding and renovating NAIA. they said that there is no room for expanding NAIA. but WHAT IF that there are still rooms for expanding………

NAIA can expand its runway by adding new parralel runway near runway 24-06.
Adding extension of T2 from International Wing to Domestic wing (It will be larger than T3).
Renovating T1 inside and out.
Full opening of T3.
Closure of Old Domestic Airport.
Moving Villamor Airbased Structures (Military Office buildings/Military Hangar) to sangley point in Cavite and used the space for Aviation related business .

Anyway this is only my own opinion I hope you will respect it thanks for reading Guys!
This is my newest creation and this is not yet finished. This Diorama is for my Display cabinet that contains my different collection of Aircrafs from the larger 1/200′s and small 1/600 Airplanes.
I have problems in finding a Cebu Pacific A320 1/500 scale because this is a limited production only made by 5Stars.

And because of that I need to used my International Planes in my T3 maybe after I finished my airport, This will look like the future NAIA 3 because currently NAIA 3 is not open for International Airlines.
This diorama is very long over a 4 feet (Only Estimate)
As you can see the Jet bridges are not yet finished because I need to make some plans for it.
I hope the real NAIA 3 will open to International Airlines to make more space to the rapidly growing number of passengers.
